Templates in Dreamweaver - Why do they keep changing each other? - dreamweaver templates
I have two Dreamweaver templates, one for my index page and a similar style and one of my other pages. Each time you change a model that changes the other also. Why can not separate the two?

I do not know why you're doing, but here is an idea to try to:
Create an index template. Save. Dreamweaver completely closed.
Now open again, and create an alternative model. Once again, save and close Dreamweaver completely.
Then go to your pages.
Or maybe something as simple as ensuring that the names of the two models are completely different.
